The U.S. Department of State published its Visa Bulletin for November 2025. This monthly update is important if you’re waiting for a green card because it shows how long you might have to wait. Every month, USCIS announces whether applicants already living in the United States should file their “adjustment of status” applications based on the “Final Action Dates” or the “Dates for Filing.” This month: Family-based applicants must use the “Dates for Filing” chart. Employment-based applicants must use the “Dates for Filing” chart. The November 2025 Visa Bulletin shows modest movement in the family-sponsored categories. F2A retrogressed by one month for all countries. F2B advanced from 1 January 2017 to 8 March 2017, and F3 for Mexico moved forward by two weeks. Other family categories, including F1 and F4, remained unchanged. All employment-based categories stayed the same from October, with no movement across EB-1 through EB-5.
